Here in the forest

dark and deep

I offer you eternal sleep

Nightmares, guilt, poor judgement

intrusive memories, poor memory

survivor guilt, flashbacks

startle reflex, hypervigilence

irritability, anger, rage, self destruction

lack of feelings, insomnia

poor concentration, hopelessness

poor self-esteem, negative self image

apathy, mistrust, isolation, avoidance

excessive blame, disassociation

My mind tells me, you're ugly why do you exist

I hate you, you're a loser

You're so fat, useless idiot, just give up

I hid my deepest feelings so well

I forgot where I placed them

I'm shutting my eyes tight

so everything goes black

Not all wounds can be seen
