Graduation

GRADUATION

We finally did it, we made it to our High School Graduation. Graduation Day had finally come after all these years of hard work, blood sweat and tears. We were all excited and happy that day. Happy that we were graduating and happy for our future. We had our graduation ceremony practice then we all left to go home and get ready until our graduation that evening. Two kids in my graduating class, I'll call them Jackson and Brandon, had went back to Jackson's house. They had been celebrating graduation and had had a few drinks. It was time for Brandon to go home and get ready for Graduation. So he left Jackson's house and headed home. Brandon wasn't wearing his seat belt and he went around a sharp turn too fast. He was thrown through the windshield and his car ran over his body and killed him.

That evening our graduation ceremony started and we were given the news. We were all shocked and the tears were flowing. What started as a happy day ended up in tragedy and sadness but we continued with the graduation ceremony. One young life taken because of alcohol, a young life that from that moment on that day was about to really just begin.
