Won't Wake Up

WON'T WAKE UP

I woke up one morning and found that everyone in my house was still asleep, and no one would wake up. Only it wasn't just my house it was the whole world, as I went outside and the streets were empty and no one was moving around. Not even one person in sight nor animal. I decided to go back inside and hop online and see if anyone else was awake or alive for that matter. I wanted to see if there was any kind of activity online. Someone surely had to be still alive and awake, not just me. I found one new post on a blog titled, "Anyone Else Awake & Alive?". It had 3 comments and the first comment said, "What is happening? Why isn't anyone waking up or moving?" The second comment said,

"What happened to the world? The news stations are out, nothing is being broadcast, only static on the television". I looked out the window again and like before, no movement of any kind, no one in sight person or animal. None of my neighbors had left their houses. Surely they had to get up to go to work but this morning it was as if they were all asleep, like the world had stopped. What could be causing this and what in the hell is going on I thought. The third comment said, "Are we the ones alive and awake? No one will wake up, they don't appear to be dead they just won't wake up". I commented back and said, "I think whatever happened last night has put everyone in a deep sleep since they don't appear to be dead even though they won't wake up. Maybe we should wait it out and see what happens or maybe I should go out and explore and see what has happened outside. Surely there has to be some kind of explanation for what is going on. We can't really be all that's left on the earth".
